ABOUT ST. LEONARD

The campus of St. Leonard was purchased in the 1950's, ultimately the home of a seminary that was completed and opened, preparing young men for the priesthood, in 1959.

Smallville was the mythical home in Ohio of superman, and it is fitting that Centerville, Ohio is the appropriate location of the St. Leonard CCRC which began as the St. Leonard Center in 1983 which ultimately became the site of one of the largest Continuing Care Retirement Communities in the U.S.

St. Leonard catapulted into orbit when in  2001 the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio purchased the property and as this is written in 2012 their major transformation has occurred as they opened new facilities including a new wellness center called "The Franciscan Center".

2012, is also the year that St. Leonard CRRC achieved a milestone 2nd year of its Vital Life Community certification as the first community in America to become a leader in de-institutionalizing late age living, by focusing on "reversing the aging process" through healthy community living.  Learn more and all about St. Leonard by going to their websites.
